Scene cleared after suspicious package report in downtown DC

WASHINGTON - Authorities have cleared the scene after a report of a suspicious package in downtown D.C. shut down the 900 Block of 17th Street.

The report was made just before 8:30 a.m. in the 900 Block of 17th Street.

Police closed down both sides of Farragut Park and along the 1600 block of I Street.
