Safety proposals to infamous DC intersection at 'Dave Thomas Circle' include demolishing Wendy's

Changes could be coming to one of D.C.'s most infamous traffic circles.

D.C. Mayor, Muriel Bowser's proposed budget calls for the city to buy the Wendy's in the middle of "Dave Thomas Circle" in the Northeast near New York Avenue. The plan calls for the structure to be demolished and for the redevelopment of the intersection to improve safety.
