Road crew worker fatally shot in DC marks city's 50th homicide of 2019

WASHINGTON (FOX 5 DC) - A road crew worker was fatally shot Wednesday in Southeast D.C., police say.

The shooting happened in the 5100 block of Southern Avenue, SE, at around 4:30 p.m.

Police say the shooting marks the 50th homicide of the year thus far.
