Recovery operation after person spotted in Potomac River near Key Bridge
WASHINGTON - Emergency crews are conducting a recovery operation in the Potomac River after a person was spotted in the water Sunday night.
The call came in around 11:30 p.m. Sunday in the water near the Francis Scott Key Bridge in D.C.
Crews searched for the person into the overnight hours. Fire officials are now calling this a recovery operation.
There is no word on the identity of the missing person.
