Prince George's County police officer injured during police pursuit in DC

WASHINGTON - At least one police officer was injured during a chase following a carjacking on Monday.

An officer initiated the chase, which began in Prince George's County and ended in the 1900 block of 15th Street, Southeast.

The officer had non-life-threatening injuries after the police cruiser was struck.

According to officials, a pedestrian was also struck but refused medical treatment.

DC police say one suspect is custody.
