Prince George’s County police lieutenant convicted of second-degree sex offense

WASHINGTON - A Prince George’s County police lieutenant has been convicted for sexually assaulting a fellow officer while they were off duty.

Richard Tallant was convicted on a charge of second-degree sex offense for the incident, which occurred in 2017.

Prosecutors took up with case following an investigation by the internal affairs division.
