Police search for vehicle connected to shooting in Northeast

WASHINGTON - Police are searching for a vehicle they believe is connected to a shooting in Northeast, D.C. that left one man injured.

The shooting happened around 4:30 a.m. on the 4400 block of Ponds Street. Police say the victim is believed to have suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators are searching for a burgundy Chrysler 200 that may be connected to the shooting. Anyone with information is asked to call police.
