Police search for suspects in DC gas station assault
WASHINGTON - Police continue to search for the three men accused of assaulting an employee in the parking lot of a gas station in D.C. Monday evening.
The incident occurred on September 12 around 5:56 p.m. in the 5000 block of Connecticut Avenue, NW, according to officials. In the surveillance video, four men can be seen exiting a car outside on the gas station, they then proceed to walk into the auto shop area of the station and start to attack and assault an individual. One of those individuals has been arrested and the other three are still on the run.
Due to the mechanics quick thinking - he called 9-1-1 as the individuals approached him and placed the phone in his pocket so the operators could hear the situation. The victim then grabbed some type of weapon to defend himself. One of the suspects lifted up his shirt and displayed a gun, according to officials. They all fled the scene in a black Honda civic bearing Maryland tags.

A reward of up to 1,000 dollars is being offered to anyone who can provide information that leads to an arrest and indictment of the individuals seen in the surveillance video.
