Police search for son who stabbed his father to death near Children's National Medical Center

WASHINGTON - Police say a man stabbed his father to death Wednesday afternoon near Children's National Medical Center in Northwest D.C.

According to police, the stabbing took place at around 3:10 p.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of Michigan Avenue. The victim was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The suspect fled the scene after the stabbing, police say. He is described as a black male wearing a white shirt, black pants and was also carrying a green shirt.
