Police search for 5 to 6 suspects in double shooting that left man dead in northeast DC
WASHINGTON - A man is dead and police are searching for multiple suspects after a double shooting overnight in northeast D.C.
Officers say they responded to the shooting around 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the 1900 block of Capitol Avenue.
Police found two men suffering from gunshot wounds when they arrived. One of the men was transported to a nearby hospital. The other man was pronounced dead on the scene.
Authorities say they are on the lookout for five to six African-American males wearing dark clothing.
