Police reunite non-verbal female with family

STERLING, Va. -

UPDATE: Police say non-verbal female found in Sterling has been REUNITED with her family.

Police are trying to identify a woman or girl who they found walking door to door early Wednesday morning in Loudoun County so they can reunite her with her family.

Investigators say she was located in the 100 block of West Ivy Avenue in Sterling going door to door in the early morning hours.

She is approximately 16 to 20 years old, 5-foot-4-inches tall, and has black hair and brown eyes. She is wearing a long-sleeve magenta shirt, blue jeans and white and pink Converse shoes. Police say she is non-verbal.
