Police: Pregnant woman shot overnight in Southeast DC

WASHINGTON - A pregnant woman has been taken to the hospital after she was shot in Southeast DC overnight, police say.

DC Police say just after 1 a.m., a pregnant woman was shot in the neck at the 2400 block of Wagner St SE.

Investigators say the woman, who they believe is about 5-6 months pregnant, was conscious and breathing when transported to the hospital.
