WASHINGTON - D.C. police confirm a juvenile was shot early Monday morning in southeast Washington.
Police say the shooting, which happened in the 4200 block of 7th Street SE, was reported around 2 am.
The victim, who was shot twice in the stomach, was conscious and breathing when he was rushed to the hospital. He was expected to survive his injuries.
Video showed bullet holes in the front doors and windows of a home near the scene. The police report states a shotspotter in the area detected five rounds being fired.
