Police are investigating a residential burglary and sexual assault this weekend in the Virginia Square neighborhood in Arlington.
FOX 5 has confirmed the incident happened at Quincy Plaza, a luxury apartment building.
Police say a Black male believed to be in his mid-20s broke into the female victim's residence and sexually assaulted her. The suspect fled the scene on foot.

The apartment management company sent residents a notice reminding them to lock apartment and car doors, and to be aware of their surroundings.
