Police investigate report of rape in park near Rockville Metro Station

ROCKVILLE, Md. - Police in Montgomery County are investigating a report of a rape by knife point that happened in a park near a Metro station.

The alleged rape was reported around 7 a.m. in a park area near North Grandin Avenue and Park Road.

The park area has a small pathway that runs through it and is located less than a quarter mile from the Rockville Metro Station.

At this time, police have no suspect information. The investigation is continuing.
