Police: 5 teens playing Pokemon Go cited for trespassing at Va. elementary school

Fairfax County police said five people have been cited for trespassing after entering an elementary school late Wednesday night to play the Pokemon Go game.

According to police, Michael Morrison and Dejin Kim, both 18 years old, along with three other juveniles tripped off an alarm at Keene Mill Elementary School, which led to officers to respond to the school at around 10:47 p.m.

The officers determined the teenagers had entered the school through an unsecured area while they were playing the new location-based augmented reality smartphone game, police said.

Morrison and Kim both received summons for trespassing on school property and were released. Police said petitions for trespassing on school property were being sought for the juvenile suspects.
