Pleasant Memorial Day with temperatures in the mid-80s; patchy afternoon showers possible

WASHINGTON (FOX 5 DC) - A pleasant Memorial Day is in the works after late evening storms rolled through the region on Sunday.

FOX 5's Mike Thomas says morning temperatures will be mild with patchy showers possible later this afternoon. Highs should be around 85 degrees Monday with mostly sunny skies.

Summerlike temperatures look like they are here to stay as the 90s return Tuesday through Thursday. Keep an eye out for scattered evening thunderstorms each of those days. Temperatures back in the 80s on Friday and into the weekend.
