Pedestrian struck, killed in Lorton
LORTON, Va. - A pedestrian was struck and killed Friday morning along a busy roadway in Fairfax County.
Police say the person was struck around 6:30 a.m. on Route 1 at Hagel Circle in Lorton.
Southbound Route 1 is closed at Hagel Circle at this time. Some southbound traffic has been rerouted onto the northbound lanes.
The investigation is still continuing at this time.
