Pedestrian struck, killed in Jessup

JESSUP, Md. - A person was struck and killed early Tuesday morning along a Howard County roadway.

The incident was reported around 4:30 a.m. along Route 175 in Jessup. Officials say 43-year-old Donnelle Markus Williams was identified as the victim. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The roadway was closed in both directions from Pocomoke Avenue to Oceano Avenue for several hours.

The incident is still under investigation at this time.
