Ontario car salesman killed by driver during test drive
ONTARIO, Calif. (FOX 11) - The name of an Ontario car salesman killed during a test drive has been released by the San Bernardino County Coroner.
Carmax salesman Warren Smale - age 43 of Montclair, was killed Tuesday afternoon when a customer crashed a Corvette into a tree.
A sidewalk memorial took shape overnight at scene of the crash on Mercedes Drive near Ontario International Airport.
Meanwhile, the test drive customer identified as 28 year-old Alex Demetro has been arrested for vehicular manslaughter.
Police say Semetro was driving too fast when he lost control of the sports car.
In addition to vehicular manslaughter, Demetro also has been arrested for driving under the influence of drugs.
