One person killed, others injured after vehicle rams into rear of Metrobus in DC

WASHINGTON - One person has been killed and multiple others injured after a car rear ended a Metrobus in D.C. on Wednesday afternoon, according to officials.

One person was extricated and taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries, eight other people who were aboard the bus were taken to the hospital with minor injuries, according to D.C. Fire and EMS.

The accident happened in the 2800 block of Alabama Ave SE, D.C.
