One man killed, another injured in Howard County double stabbing
COLUMBIA, Md. - A 23-year-old man has died and another man was injured after they were both stabbed in Columbia on Christmas Day, according to police.
Detectives say at 9:40 p.m. two men were at a convenience store at the Trellis Center at Howard County General Hospital on Hickory Ridge Road when they got involved in an altercation with a man.
Police say the suspect stabbed both victims and then fled with a woman.
Police say both victims were transported to University of Maryland Shock Trauma where one of the victims, 23-year-old James Fallin Jr., from Columbia died.
They say 22-year-old Warner Jackson from Columbia, was treated and released.
