Officials believe 'mountain lion' spotted at park in Prince George's County was a fox or coyote

GREENBELT, Md. - Officials said they believe the report of a mountain lion at a park in Prince George's County was actually a fox or coyote.

U.S. Park Police told FOX 5 they received a report of a mountain lion being sighted at Greenbelt National Park in Greenbelt. Officials urged people to stay away from the park as they investigated the report.

Crews were seen searching the area with long guns following the report. Following an extensive search, authorities said they believed the caller actually saw a coyote or fox.
