The White House Historical Association has announced the release of the Official 2019 White House Christmas Ornament that honors the presidency of Dwight D. Eisenhower.

The ornament, a green and gold helicopter, represents Eisenhower becoming the first sitting president to fly in a helicopter in 1957.

The box that the ornament comes in is fashioned to look like the White House South Lawn where Eisenhower started the tradition of presidential arrivals and departures.

This is the 38th Official White House Christmas Ornament and is available for sale now online.
