Northern Virginia family's belongings ruined by flooding
WOODBRIDGE, Va. (FOX 5 DC) - A Northern Virginia family is temporarily homeless after flood waters overran their home during Thursday's heavy rains.
The extreme flooding is due to erosion in a drainage pipe.
Prince William County, the Montclair Country Club, and the Montclair Property Owner's Association are all playing the "blame game" regarding responsibility for fixing the pipe.
FOX 5 talked to Paula Lewis one month ago - she had concerns about massive flooding because of an aging drainpipe on the golf course bordering her backyard.
Now, Lewis and her family are forced to stay with neighbors, and their belongings are ruined.
