MUST-SEE: DC Police officers save driver from burning car

WASHINGTON - A dramatic video shows the moment two Metropolitan Police officers saved a man from a burning car.

Body cam footage released by the D.C. Police Department shows the officers breaking the car's driver side window in order to get him out to safety.

The accident happened on Monday evening when the car veered off Bladensburg Rd, NE, hit a light pole and burst into flames.

According to officials the driver was treated and released from the hospital.
