A cement mixer truck has overturned after a multi-vehicle crash in Upper Marlboro Wednesday afternoon, officials say.

The crash happened on Crain Highway (Route 301) just south of Stephanie Roper Highway (Route 4).

Maryland State Police say a tanker truck and a tow truck transporting two vehicles in tow were also involved in the crash.

Dry cement from the cement truck has spilled onto the roadway. There was no material inside the tanker truck, according to police.

One person was treated at the scene, but no one had to be transported to the hospital, police say.

All southbound lanes of Route 301 were closed off to traffic, but later reopened Wednesday night.
