Multi-vehicle crash on I-95 causes major delays during morning commute

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - A multi-vehicle crash on southbound Interstate 95 in College Park is causing major delays during the Thursday morning commute.

The accident happened on I-95 just before the Interstate 495 interchange.

As many as seven vehicles were reportedly involved in the crash. The cause for the accident is still being investigated.

A clipper system that moved through the region last night brought cold temperatures and some snow to the region. It is unclear if weather was a contributing factor in this accident.
