Multi-vehicle crash along eastbound lanes of Interstate 66 in Centreville area causes major delays
CENTREVILLE, Va. (FOX 5 DC) - All lanes of eastbound Interstate 66 in the Centreville area have reopened after a major multi-vehicle crash, authorities say, but delays continue.
The crash was reported in the eastbound lanes of I-66 past Route 28 (Exit 53) just before 5 a.m.
At least five vehicles were involved in the crash. It is not clear how many injuries were reported.
The crash was cleared around 5:45 a.m. but major traffic delays continue in the area.
