Motorcyclist killed in Montgomery County traffic accident

CHEVY CHASE, Md. - A motorcyclist was killed in an accident in Montgomery County Tuesday morning.

The accident happened around 9 a.m. near the intersection of Connecticut Avenue and Thornapple Street in Chevy Chase.

Motorists can expected several hours of closures while police investigate. The cause of the accident is unknown at this time.
