WOODBRIDGE, Va. - More possible victims are coming forward after a registered nurse was charged with inappropriately touching a female patient at a Virginia hospital.
Prince William County police say they have received calls from people claiming that they have been sexually assaulted by 60-year-old Frederick Yeboah. They are working to corroborate their claims and are meeting with these alleged victims.
Yeboah was arrested on Monday and is facing charges of object sexual penetration and sexual battery of a 39-year-old patient at Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge. Police say it happened on several occasions between August 21 and August 24.
Yeboah has been a registered nurse in Virginia for 18 years. Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center said in a statement that he has been placed on administrative leave and the hospital is cooperating with authorities.
The 60-year-old is currently being held without bond.
