Montgomery County students head back to school with later start times
ROCKVILLE, Md. - Students in the Montgomery County School district will head back to school Monday, and this year, they will have a little extra time in the morning to rest.
The 2015-2016 school year is the first year that Montgomery County Schools will have later start times.
High school students are starting 20 minutes later than last year and middle school and elementary school students will start 10 minutes later than last year.
Monday also marks the first day of school for students in Charles County, Prince William County, Loudoun County and Manassas City.
