Montgomery Co. police identify 2 men found shot, dead inside crashed car, investigating as homicide

Montgomery County police say they are now investigating a homcide, after they say two men were found with gunshot wounds inside a car involved in a crash in the White Oak area Monday night.

Police say 23-year-old Jordan Radway, from Laurel, and 24-year-old Christian Roberts, from Silver Spring were found dead in a car that crashed into several parked cars at the 11600 block of Stewart Lane.

"We are now treating this as a homicide investigation. We found both occupants of the vehicle had gunshot wounds," said Captain Tom Jordon with Montgomery County police.

Christian Roberts' family said their son played basketball for Stevenson University and the two young men were friends who went to Paint Branch High School together.

Police say they were called around 8:30 p.m. for the crash. When they arrived they, they found the bodies of two men, now identified as Radway and Roberts, inside of a car that had struck a row of parked vehicles before coming to a stop facing the wrong direction.

Neighbors called police after hearing the horrific crash. Gas and oil were cleaned up at the location of the crash and all of the vehicles involved have since been moved from the area.

There is no lookout for anyone running or driving away from the scene.
