Mild temperatures Thursday with passing morning showers; weekend heat on the way

WASHINGTON (FOX 5 DC) - A cool start with some passing showers Thursday morning but another mild day is in the works with plenty of sunshine later this afternoon.

While it won't be as clear as Wednesday, FOX 5's Mike Thomas says the light rain should quickly move out of the area during the morning hours before temperatures in the 60s and 70s move in. Highs should be right around 78 degrees.

Warmer air is coming our way! Temperatures in the mid-80s Friday with evening showers. Saturday looks warm and humid with highs around 85 degrees. A summer preview on Sunday with temperatures near 90 degrees!
