Mattress store recreates 'Twin Tower' attack in commercial advertising 9/11 sale
SAN ANTONIO - A bedding store has apologized for their commercial that promoted a September 11th sale by recreating the collapse of the World Trade Center towers using mattresses.
In the commercial, Miracle Mattress store employees advertise a 'Twin Towers' sale which will run over the weekend during the 15th anniversary of the September 11th attacks. (WATCH THE VIDEO)
"What better way to remember 9/11 than with a Twin Tower sale?" said the store manager in the video. The sale, she said, would offer king and queen sized mattresses for the price of twin mattresses. In the video, the manager accidentally pushes two store employees into two stacks of mattresses positioned in a way to resemble the World Trade Center towers. The manager screams, and after the stacks of mattresses topple to the ground, looks into the camera and says, "We'll never forget."
Miracle Mattress has since removed the controversial video from its Facebook page and posted an apology. (CLICK HERE FOR FACEBOOK PAGE)
