Manhole explodes in DC's Capitol Hill neighborhood; one home evacuated

WASHINGTON - Emergency crews say a manhole exploded in the Capitol Hill area of the District. The explosion happened around 9:30 a.m. in the 1300 block of Independence Avenue.

No injuries were reported. One home was reportedly evacuated.
