Man suspected of break-ins growled at officers during arrest

PASADENA, Md. (AP) -- Anne Arundel County Police say they arrested an incoherent and growling man suspected of trying to break into four homes in one Pasadena neighborhood.

Police say they were responding to a break-in attempt around 3:30 a.m. Saturday when they heard yelling coming from another home. A woman told police that a man forced his way inside after she heard a loud bang.

Thirty-six-year-old Christopher Shore Jr. of Pasadena was arrested on charges of burglary, attempted burglary and destruction of property. Police say he may have been on drugs because he was growling and incoherent.

No attorney is listed for Shore in online court records.
