Man shot, killed in northwest DC

WASHINGTON - Police are investigating a shooting in northwest D.C. that left a man dead. The shooting happened in the 200 block of Cedar Street around 7:50 p.m. Monday in front of a 7-11 convenience store.

Three men allegedly approached the victim and one pulled a handgun. The victim was shot and was transported to a local hospital where he later died.

Police have no information regarding suspects or motives at this time.
