Man shot and killed by gunman who possibly fired through basement window

CLINTON, Md. - Police are investigating a shooting in Prince George's County that left one man dead. The victim, 22-year-old Kevin Maurice Washington Jr., was shot dead by a gunman who fired through a basement window of the home.

The shooting happened around 9:30 p.m. in the 5700 block of Alan Drive in Clinton, Md.

Police say Washington was in his basement bedroom when he was shot and killed. He was pronounced dead on the scene. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in the case.

At this time, detectives have no information regarding a suspect or a motive.
