Man accused of punching disabled vet after he allegedly refused to let daughter pet service dog
MANLIUS, N.Y. - A man accused of punching a disabled United States Army Veteran is under arrest after turning himself in, police say.
21-year-old Dominick Vidal faces charges, including 3rd degree assault, after an incident at a Dunkin Donuts in Fayetteville.
Manlius Police say Vidal punched the veteran in the face twice and then left the scene.
A report on CNYCentral.com said that the incident began after the veteran told Vidal's daughter she could not pet his service dog.
