Man accused of killing uncle in Prince George's County charged with murder, police say
BALTIMORE, Md. (FOX 5 DC) - A 20-year-old man accused of killing his uncle inside of a home in Lanham is in custody after he was arrested in Baltimore Tuesday morning, the Prince George's County Police say.
According to police, officers were called to a home in the 9000 block of Alcona Street in Lanham after receiving reports of a shooting on Sunday at around 2:55 a.m.
Inside the home, they found 69-year-old Alee Calokoh, who was pronounced dead at the scene, and a female victim who appeared to be suffering from non-life threatening injuries.
An investigation reveals Osman Kalokoh got into an argument with his uncle, Calokoh, prior to the shooting.
Police say on Tuesday, Kalokoh drove himself to the MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital in Baltimore on a golf cart at around 2:50 a.m.where he refused to provide information about his identity. When police arrived, they determined he was wanted in Prince George's County for a homicide.
Kalokoh was arrested and charged with first-degree murder, attempted murder and related charges. He is currently in custody in Baltimore, police say.
