Man accused in slaying of neighbor in Adelphi condo

Prince George's County police say they've arrested an Adelphi man in the slaying of his neighbor.

Police say 54-year-old Rudolph Phelps killed 61-year-old Karen Siegman during an argument inside her condo on Friday.

Phelps was arrested Friday evening and charged with first-degree murder.

Police have not detailed how Siegman was killed or what she and Phelps were arguing about, but they say the fight "escalated into a homicide."
