LOCATED: Woman, children found safe in DC

Police say the three girls who were reported missing after last being seen with the mother of the youngest on Sunday in D.C. have been located and are safe. Police made the announcement just before 10 a.m. on Monday.

Investigators had originally reported 23-year-old Tyana Dudley, her daughter, 18-month-old Shamirra Dudley, and her two nieces, 3-year-old Aziah Powell and 6-year-old Amour Watts, missing during the overnight hours early Monday morning.

They had last seen in the 800 block of Division Avenue on September 9.

FOX 5's Bob Barnard spoke with he grandmother of the girls who told him that Tyana Dudley took the children from her house and disappeared. The children and Tyana were found a strip mall on Central Avenue in Southeast D.C.
