Landing gear malfunction causes rough landing for JetBlue flight from DC to Bahamas

A JetBlue flight from Reagan National Airport to the Bahamas experienced a rough landing Friday afternoon due to a landing gear malfunction.

According to the airline, Flight 29 landed in Nassau just after 4:30 p.m. "utilizing the EMBRAER 190 aircraft's rear gear, with its nose gear partially extended. Response crews met the aircraft on the runway to ensure the safety of those onboard."

There were no reported injuries, JetBlue said.
