Joe's Crab Shack to institute 'no tipping' policy
How would you like to go out to eat without having to tip your waiter? Joe's Crab Shack, an American seafood chain, has announced they are rolling out a new 'no tipping' policy.
The change will go into effect at 18 of its 130 locations nationwide.
Prices on joe's menu will increase 12 to 15 percent to offset costs.
Servers currently earn $2.13 an hour with tips, however, but under the new policy they will earn between $12 and $14 an hour.
The CEO of Joe's Crab Shack says good service should be included in the price and not cost extra.
