#NationalDogDay: Why dogs are so special

Photojournalist Jesse Burkett Hall meets up with a number of people at Bark & Go dog park about why their dogs are so incredibly special to them and how they fulfill their lives. And then we show off some of your dogs you submitted on Twitter and Instagram.

It may seem as if National Dog Day happens more than once a year, but one day a year at least, social media is flooded with photos of adorable pups that make our hearts melt.
