IT'S A HOT ONE: Scorching temps, storms in forecast Saturday
UPDATE (2:30 P.M.): A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for D.C., Maryland and Northern Virginia counties until 7 p.m.
WASHINGTON (FOX 5 DC) - Saturday is going to be a hot one in the District.
Get your beach towels ready: temperatures are expected to match Friday's high of 95 today, and may even rise to the low 100s.
That would make Saturday the hottest day of the year so far.
You might want to make it an early beach day, too -- strong and severe storms are forecasted for Saturday afternoon.
The storms will cool off the DMV a bit, with Sunday's high forecasted for 92.
