Investigation after body found inside burning RV near Glen Burnie

GLEN BURNIE, Md. (FOX 5 DC) - Police are investigating after a body was found dead inside of an RV that was engulfed in flames early Monday morning in Anne Arundel County.

Officials say they were called to a wooded area near Ritchie Highway and Sycamore Drive near Glen Burnie around 5:30 a.m. for a report of a brush fire. When they arrived they found the vehicle in flames.

Authorities believe the body is that of an adult male. His age is unknown at this time. Investigators are unsure if the incident is accidental or criminal in nature.
