Human remains found in Glen Burnie

GLEN BURNIE, Md. - Anne Arundel County homicide investigators were on the scene in Glen Burnie Monday after human remains were found in a wooded area along Elvaton Road.

Investigators responded to the scene near Silent Breeze Court around 11:13 a.m. after a maintenance worker reported that he’d found a body.

The remains were taken from the scene for an autopsy scheduled for Tuesday.

The body – which they believe was that of a female – had been at the location for several weeks.

They are waiting on the results of the autopsy to determine the woman’s identity.
