Howard County Police searching for suspect in double shooting

JESSUP, Md. - Howard County Police are searching for a suspect in a double shooting that happened in Jessup, Md.

The incident occurred around 1 p.m. Sunday at a truck stop in the 7400 block of Assateague Drive.

Police arrived at the scene and located one adult male victim deceased and another injured, both suffering gunshot wounds. The injured victim a 57-year-old from Baltimore was taken to Shock Trauma in stable condition;

Neither the deceased nor the injured victim have been identified.

An unknown male suspect remains at large.

Police are looking for a single suspect not believed to be in area. They describe the suspect as Asian male, wearing blue jeans and blue jacket

Howard County police say that all the primary roads in the vicinity of the truck stop have been re-opened.
